Current role
Brandon joined Z&P in November 2019 after interning at the legal department of the central bank, the Bank of Central African States.
He holds a professional masters 2 degree in corporate legal consultancy and arbitration and a masters 1 degree in investment law and international trade in Africa, both from the University of Dschang. He also holds a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Dschang.
Brandon is passionate about the law and since joining Z&P, he has developed expertise in transactional work in various areas of the law, including commercial and corporate law, banking and finance, project finance/development, and labour law. He has also honed his skills in legal drafting.
His experience includes, among others, the following areas:
Advising DRCC (Douala Retail and Convention Centre) on securities Law in relation to the financing of the Douala Grand Mall;
Advised Calibra, a subsidiary of Facebook on virtual currency regulation in Cameroon (the provision of Calibra services (user purchase and sale of Libra - cryptocurrency) ;
Advising Sanofi France and Sanofi Cameroon on the tax, employment and foreign investments aspect of a share offering to employees of Sanofi Cameroon (ongoing);
Advised airlines such as RwandAir and Kenya Airways on aviation law, compliance, labour law and litigation matters;
His capacity to deliver quality work in French and English is of great value to the firm.
